Photo Essay: Dushera Festival

The festival is in full swing as hundreds of people walk through the parking lot, checking out the gift shop tent and the multiple food tents. (Anirudh Sridhar)

Aside from the festivities outdoor, devotees pay their respects to the Gods inside of the temple. (Anirudh Sridhar) 


The night concludes with the burning of the demon effigy, symbolizing the victory of the God Rama over the demon, and resulting in a large bonfire that the devotees surround while celebrating. (Anirudh Sridhar)
